FLOWERING
There's a song in the stone
you hold in your hand
There's a calming touch
from the soil of the land
When you hold around a tree
or lay deep in the sand
The warmth will embrace you
and sleep in your hand
A flower in the snow
so fragile and pure
Sings of the strength
to grow and endure
All living things
sing a different song
When you open your eye,
you'll find a song of your own

MIRROR LAKE
Walk me to the valley's end
by the sundown hour
Where the coolness of the air
touches you like flower
Walk me to the water's edge
by the mirror lake
Where the moments of the day
are colourful, awake
All that gave you joy today,
were presents on your way
In the mirror of the lake,
a never endinday
Let the things you did regret
be changed and formed anew
Know that when a new day comes,
you can will it true
MIST-ER-Y
One night I sailed my boat alone
across the dark blue sea
The moon was cold with a silver shine
and woke a fear in me
A mighty wave of velvet black
rose before my eyes
And as my boat was swallowed whole,
it silenced all my cries
By the flaming light of dawn,
on an island born of stone
I woke trembling on the shore,
and I was all alone
My wails were drowned in the void,
no sounds were meant to be
Then something moved in the water’s depth,
a wave that came for me
A wave of blue, a wave of white
was towering over the shore
On the island was nowhere to hide
and I would run no more
I stood still and faced the wave,
waiting for it to come
Between the past and future time,
I thought my life was done
The wave then shattered into mist,
as a veil suddenly torn
A whisper of warmth to a tired heart,
and a different tune was born
MOONLIT VOICE
Linnea walks in half light,
and sees islands of black everywhere
But the river of sunrays flowing down
blinds her eyes with fear
Linnea leaves no trail,
she treads so lightly on the ground
On a path that follows the blowing wind,
to where ever the wind is bound
Linnea is calling out,
to find voices to sing with her own
But her cry is lost in nowhere land
and leaves a lonely sound
Linnea feels she is missing,
something and someone and some fair place
Her eyes are telling of coloured dreams
and the light doesn't reach her face
The river of light sleeps in your song,
it will burn so wild and strong
When you end your search for golden suns,
your eyes find a light of their own
THE LAND
The sky is filled with crimson light,
bright with morning fire
When you`re waking in the night,
the stars will lit the dark
And you know you belong,
you belong to this land
Where the light ever changes the sky
The mountains resting on the land,
all blue and gazing down
When you are climbing to the top,
you make the world your own
And you know you belong,
you belong to this land
where the mountains forever will stand
Hear the wind in the trees
and the singing in the leaves,
the sunlight is smiling gold
Hear the wind in the trees
and the singing in the leaves
The land tells a tale of old
The woodland stretching
far and wide,
a thousand shades of green
The trees are holding memories,
in an endless dream
And you know you belong,
you belong to this land
The land is the home of your song
Hear the wind in the trees
and the singing in the leaves
The sunlight is smiling gold
Hear the wind in the trees
and the singing in the leaves
The land tells a tale of old
Hear the wind in the trees
and the singing in the leaves
The sunlight is smiling gold
Hear the wind in the trees
and the singing in the leaves
The land tells a tale of old
OCEAN ROSE
She was a silent white rose
who lived in a tall iron tower
Barefoot she wandered in her rooms,
dreaming of life and a lover
In the night she threw a net,
into the ocean wide and deep
And some of the things
she caught in there,
made her sad and made her weep
A fiery warmth embraced her heart
when sunrays caught her hair
And as she looked upon the world,
her longing got hard to bear
She was locked in an iron tower,
with windows but no doors to be found
And often she listened hard at night
for a voice in the ocean's sound
And voices were mingling with her own,
waves were singing, flee the tower
By the stairway that takes you down,
follow the ocean's song my flower
Silently the rose went down,
she was shivering in the dark and the cold
Through an opening in the wall,
the ocean sang as foretold
Floating upon the warm blue sea,
by the waves to a shore she was led
Among the trees red roses grew,
and the white rose turned to red
THE WELL
By an old drinking well
on the grass so green
I lay down and fell into a dream
By a strange mellow sound,
from a silver eyed bird
I opened my eyes, but said no word
On the pathway came walking
a woman so bold
Behind her in silence went the old
Ahead ran the children with joyful cries
Their faces were lifted to the skies
The woman's hair was raven
and black as the night
Covered with stars shining bright
As they passed by the well,
I saw that their eyes
was flaming like many coloured ice
They passed by the well,
like a breeze pure and clean
Soon they were nowhere to be seen
When I woke up alone,
on the grass so green
I looked into the well to catch the dream
The water was rising and I felt a chill
I willed the water to be still
There was a face in the mirror
and the face wasn't mine
The eyes held a shimmering shine
There was a face in the mirror,
like a face out of time
The eyes held a shimmering shine
WATERSHADE
Silver shadows, unicorns land
Birds of tomorrow rest in the sand
Blowing horns, far away
Velvet dunes, a shimmering day
Golden rain, flaming streams
Sun-paled wings, crystal dreams
Distant hill, meadows bright
Shadows born from the light
Somewhere the border of day and night
Shines with the colours of velvet light
Weaving ties of emerald bright
Somewhere the border of day and night
Unknown beaches, the waterfall sings
Playing tunes by unseen strings
Water and earth, fire and air
A silent dance, of roses fair
WAVES OF GREEN
Come be my true beloved
and share my journey's song
On the winding pathways
where we belong
Be my true beloved,
as heaven to the sea
Sail beyond the sunset,
to wonder is to be
Come river of tomorrow,
come well of yesterday
Blending with another,
each a different way
Bring me wind and fire
and I'll bring the sea
Come into the garden,
all the shades of green
Be my true beloved,
on the farthest shore
A place we are less,
a place we are more
Come give me all your landscapes,
and I will give you mine
When the clouds are parting
by the light of time
Bring me wind and fire, and I'll bring the sea
Come into the garden, all the shades of green
